1. Never rejected by Nickelodeon
The creator Pendleton Ward presented Adventure Time as the work of the pilot project to Nickelodeon, but Adventure Time was rejected by the reason the cartoon was too strange for children.
2. Finn is inspired by Bueno The Bear
Finn has a strong resemblance to one of Bueno the Bear’s webcomic creations. Finn and Bueno both have square bodies, long arms and legs, tiny ears on either side of their heads, and small eyes with long distances.
3. Two of the voices of Finn turned out to be brothers
At first, the Finn character was voiced by Zack Shada, but Zack was considered to be too old to play the character, so his younger brother Jeremy Shada took over to fill in Finn’s voice because it had the same character as Zack’s voice.
4. The sound of the Ice King is filled by legendary cartoon voice actor Tom Kenny
Tom Kenny is the voice of Ice King in Adventure Time as well as several minor characters such as Gunther, Lumpy Space King, and Bufo. Tom Kenny’s voice has colored our childhood a lot. Tom became very famous for singing Spongebob Squarepants as well as the voice of Gary the Snail from 1999 to 2016.

6. The sound of keyboard typing in the theme song
After Cartoon Network bought Adventure Time, the original song from the pilot project was recorded again with a different instrument, with a ukulele instead of a guitar. The theme song was originally only intended as a temporary version. The song was recorded on a small microphone and had a lot of noise.
“If you listen to the recording carefully, you can hear Derek Drymon typing on the keyboard while Jake is walking,” said the creator of Adventure Time Pendleton Ward. Typing occurs around the 16-second mark.
